Aside of my recent pleas to encourage others to help with hospital research yet again the blood banks need our help as reported on lunchtime TV news -they need O and A groups.

As I have said it is a myth that hospitals don’t need the common blood groups -irony being they often run low in stock of  O group.

It only takes a few minutes, I confess I only started donating after my lovely mother had to have a blood transfusion then it became personal.
